Omg I actually did things this weekend! And by this weekend I mean last week and today!
Last week I was in Santa Rosa with Max, which was both boring and really really fun. Boring because he had classes and loves to play video games. Really really fun for obvious reasons...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, so that was last week, then I found out from See's that I wasn't laid off or terminated, so once I get around to going in to give her my hours, I can start working again. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay omg you have no idea how poor I am. Ugh.
So Friday I did nothing, Saturday I did nothing until about 11 when I went over to Max's and played The Sims while he and his gussies played warcraft, which is actually more fun than most people would think. Silly as those are, the people who play them are nice funny boys. So that was last night, this morning we slept in and then went to the Asian Art Museum in the city, which was big and cool and tiring and included a huge bowl of vegetable curry at the café in there, and then after more buddhas than you can shake a stick at we went to Japantown for noooooooooodles at Mifune (of course max had to finish my udon cause the bowls are the size of your head and I could only finish half of my udon with egg and chicken (Max:"Why do you have to make Betty sad?" *inhales leftover udon*), and then of course ICHIBAN KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN for more pocky than you can shake a stick (of pocky!) at. On a side note the strawberry pocky tastes just like strawberry shortcake. Also got them almost starburst-y type things and those chocolate creme filled koala cookies and some hard candy a peach ramune and for max a bowl and teriyaki flavored nori and these tea-bag looking things that are actually soup and some pocky-type treat that was filled with peanut butter and who the fuck knows, you know?
The weather in the city was really pretty, very windy though, but not too chilly and beautiful clouds just whipping past in the wind, and of course anywhere max is is beautiful. Also two free meals and admission to a museum was awesome (thanks max's mommy yaaaaaaaaaaaaay). Also Max is a really good driver and drove us allllll around all in the city and everything and is so calm and wonderful and nice to be in the car with and wonderful to be with regardless of time or place or what. If he weren't already taken I would fix him up with someone cause he really is possibly the best human being ever to have lived. |
